For those resigning... did y’all put 2 weeks in? Does Corp want you to work 2 weeks to facilitate handover, or did they make you turn in badge/computer immediately?

ID: @1kaa+19IxV8pk Then you must really despise exxonmobil management.
I offered my professional courtesy and gave my two week notice. Wasn’t asked to do any transition and got badge deactivated the same day. AND I was told that I was off the payroll immediately without the final two weeks pay....so you all have an idea what this company has become
Ok so don’t lie for money and give your two weeks, youre likely checked out during the two weeks and not doing anything.
Also don’t worry, I’m sure people don’t like people like you.
So lie for money. I don’t like people like you.
I resigned last month. The things I miss most about ExxonMobil are holding the handrails only when others can see me and driving 5 MPH on the 4 lane ring road at the campus.
Nobody competes with ExxonMobil.
Nobody.
@mdc+19IxV8pk
Is that better
Tell them you're giving youre going to a competitor so you get two free weeks vacation
Class name @OP...
Our employment is "at will", meaning you can leave same day, however, 2 weeks is courtesy. You don't want to leave a bad footprint so I'd suggest to do offer at least 2 weeks of transition, if needed. If not needed, EM will tell you, but in most cases, transition is needed. Be a good citizen.
If you’re going to leave ExxonMobil to work for a competitor they will likely walk you out BUT, will pay you for your notice period.
Would any other operator be considered a competitor, Or just majors?
If you going to q competitor, they will make you leave on the day after.
