How many people in ATT nationwide have submitted requests to accept an early retirement offer ? I would imagine thousands. Why will the company in cahoots with CWA not fulfill those requests and avoid some layoffs ?

The quarterly surplus in the SW region is always mid March. That could mean this Friday or next. Typically, SE gets hit a week prior so that sounds about right.

There really needs to be a surplus in CWA 7050 since there’s little work and way too many techs, but that won’t happen since T management dreams of a ton of work coming down the pike...riiiiiiiight!

The Union knows the numbers a good week in advance. The First levels know the final numbers by March 1st and the preliminary surplus numbers a week or two before that.

CWA local in South Florida. Since the surplus date is 3/12, the local should, but not always, know on the 12th if affected by a surplus.

This statement is too vague. You need to be way more specific
