@1nhv+19LUIK3Q, you've been drinking the corporate kool-aid. they could drop off on general merchandise, but fresh & grocery SHOULD NOT. people still have to eat!!!!
now, if sales fall off in fresh, you can point the finger at home office for cutting help & changing schedules when club's have momentum. if they staffed the clubs & stores properly, you'd have to lock the doors to keep paying customers out.

I think more position eliminations. I am prepared for the worse. It seems the more money the company makes the more Doug wants to cut down on expenses to save more money regardless of who gets affected. But that's retail.
Sales are not going to increase, they're about to tank, this is when the pandemic started last year, the only thing that will help stave off stagnant sales in the short term is that stimulus. We all knew they were going to decimate the payroll this year because of the huge sales decrease that's about to happen. Hope you saved some of that bonus money :)
sales will continue to increase over the next 4 weeks. associates will try in vain to keep up. they'll get burned out & frustrated that they can't get the job done. bentonville fat cats will pat themselves on the back & congratulate each other on screwing store level associates again.
@ryg+19LUIK3Q......until they work out the kinks? they haven't had fresh departments operating right for the last 8 years. Sales increase, but they cut staffing. Geez, the people running this company are !d!0t$.
I think in the next 4 weeks another month will pass
Nothing. Stop panicking.
It’s gonna get worse. I mean they are squeezing every department dry.
Team Lead raises
Chaos. All the changes in the fresh departments are going to make everything hell in the clubs for a few months until they manage to work out the kinks
