Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Circuit is unreadable

Makes me puke every time I read a lame, self-promoting Diversity article on circuit. There is another one just published. Promoting an IT person. Rags to riches story, who cares. IT org is a disgrace. Why do they promote people when our systems are arcane kluge jobs.

Just reminds me constantly diversity promos are given to friends and family networks. I haven’t seen one promo article, diversity or non diversity, that Celebrates a person that truly generated results, delivered significant, tangible accomplishments To intel or/and demonstrated right values.

It is all about self promotion, encouraging celebrity without substance culture, brown nosing, politics, no delivery job descriptions like sensing. what the hell does sensing mean. they are tasting and smelling market trends...bozo explosion.

Intel has become the land of “I deserve”. Everyone who works there thinks they deserve something because they feel they come from some humble beginnings. Honestly not is best to learn how to just deal with it unless the new ceo changes culture.

I hate to tell you all.. but Intel is going to go back to “only the paranoid survive” mentality. This will weed all of the sea in babies and dead weight out.

Not comfortable with diversity? What does it mean.

We are not comfortable with Intel’s diversity efforts. We ARE NOT comfortable with lame, self promoters s—ing all air out of our work environment, alright!

When the CEO promotes his TA to a VP position and calls her the Chief diversity officer without opening the position for others to apply and selecting the best person for the job *note not the person you favor, your friend and your a– kisser, call it your loyalist but the person with the best qualifications and background, That is not diversity and inclusion OK. It is is the opposite

@1ljv+19LePhOd there was once a time results were about execution and delivering solutions on time and world class products truly changing the world.

These days we've been thru two CEOs and on the third. Intel has spend more money than almost any other company in semiconductors and has gone from leader to laggard and laughing stock in technology.

I'm glad they are a leader and get recognized for diversity. What's the point of diversity when you are losing at everything else and your CEO and organization is changing by the quarter because of execution and business failure, but you got diversity?

frankly biz would get some reputation for leading the diversity effort
however being proud of it is a self arrogant
truely, this charity does not help for turning the company into great as before
so, you ask me whether I like it or not? I would say I don't give it a damn
do the real work instead

If you are uncomfortable with diversity, perhaps it’s time for you to find a different employer. Intel’s support of diversity is industry leading and makes me proud.

If its the same article. The ‘onlys’ rang true and why intel in now home to the interviewee as intel in the land of onlys.

  • Only can do 14nm
  • Only focus RISE over Engineering
  • Only knows how to treat employees poorly
  • Only knows layoffs as solutions
  • Only can attract mediocre talent
  • Only promotes incompetence

The list goes on and on
