Please...the team lead in my department dosnt deserve the $18.00 he gets the only reason he got the position is because hes black and hes close friends with a higher up manager.
Hes slow, lazy and is so quick to tell certain members NO while gladly helping others with the same issue.

Everyone needs to stop using the racist card. The good Lord made all of us equal. We need to have a leadership of pride within ourselves. Remember you need to work for what you earn in this life
Long term leads got zero pay increases. This was a slap in the face. We had to earn our pay and was never given it. Company needs to look and appreciate their long term associates because they are the ones that have made the company what it is today
Is there such thing as white privilege? If so, there must be such thing as black privilege. There is no question that Sam's/Walmart & other corporations put diversity over quality.

So let me get this straight anyone who complains about someone that is slow and lazy and happens to be black but doesn’t do the job that they are getting paid to do is a racist just because they mentioned the color of the person’s skin? I for one am tired of making excuses and apologizing for certain people that think they have a reason to get away with everything because they think that I owe them something! My grandparents were forced off their land in North Carolina and died on the Trail of Tears! Look it up!

Team lead raises happened last year. Merch and cos make $18, produce makes $20, prepaired makes $21 not sure about bakery and meat
You're so going to be attacked, because you sound like a racist using terms like slow...lazy...black, and besides, as long as they aren't related or dating, a manager can hire whoever they want as a lead.
You can have all the opinions you want, but so what? You have no power. Don't like where you work, move to a different department or find another job.
