i thought popcorn is the person who took the lump sum and blew it all so always wants eveyrone to take the lump sum and share his misery. the trailer-trash dude that posts here all the time.

This site is for those at Chevron with no friends or social network or social networking skills. Otherwise most of the folks employed by Chevron posting here on a layoffs specific site would not be posting about mundane work related issues and would be elsewhere.

This site is whatever we (the posters and contributors) want it to be. There are no rules on content. Any comment to the contrary is mute.

Yes it is, but the annuity troll guy who talks about nothing but annuities, can't help posting on here. I think he is one and the same as the guy who was upset about his choice to take the lump sum which is gone for him so he keeps whining incessantly about it, trying to convince others that it's the best choice so others can join his misery. Crabs in a pot mentality.

I agree, it's right there in the titles of all the threads and the site itself. But no doubt, there are those who will abuse the privilege and troll this site with nonsense, unrelated comments and posts.

I would also suggest that it is also just as much for distraction whist sitting on the pot and/or waiting for some huge data file to load through an otherwise very slow home wifi system. Aw c'mon! Stop taking this cr*p so seriously!

I would also suggest that this is just as much for those who are pretty sure that they will be cut in the next round and are getting some of the scoop on it. That's most of the posters, from the tone, they know that they are dead wood and on the chopping block.
