Under the old sick time policy, you would not have gotten paid for those hours when leaving the company. They certainly won't give it to you now.

We definitely should see how we can start it because look at all they have taken from us!
I also had the max sick time and was rolling over into many personal hours and I didn’t get any of it when I left the company! They made it impossible to use it that’s why we all had so much!
I mean really I can’t use it but I can use for my family members?
Just another way this disgusting company has cheated many of their long term associates!

I just had this conversation with a chat person onewalmart.. they told me you could use the personal hours you have once you have used up all your pto and ppto time.. and you could use your sick time if you get sick and have to go out on loa or if your family member is sick and you have to take care of them.. so you might as well say forget about it you cant really use this time unless you are on an Loa.. its wonderful how it is YOUR TIME that is built up but you can not use it.. they should not have even sent those letters out in the mail because now everyone with legacy time wants to use it but still cant without all these stipulations attached to it.. ITS JUST STUPID.. we the ppl should file a lawsuit against them for the use of our time.
Only a manager can put it in for you. It is under sick time for there option.
Legacy sick time that the managers don't know or care about. Does anyone know how to use it?
I have 162 hours broke my leg 2 years ago couldn't use it but I could if my family member broke there's lol .
It’s illegal, unethical and immoral and someone should start a class action lawsuit for those of you who left the company and were not paid out for that old sick time or personal time that you EARNED!
I left the company and they kept my sick and personal and gave me 5 PTO Days?
This can’t be legal! Look at of the money they are stealing from all of us!
The same thing happened to me also ,lost all 192 hours of sick time & what was left of PTO. I wish this company would be taken to court over stolen money that was taken from us. I never used sick time it sat there maxed out for years , I should of used it somehow, someway. Didn't want to call in just to call in to use it, I did have a really good team of people in my dept. so it wasn't fair to them to put extra work on them. Just didn't feel right to me, now other in our club called in 2 to 3 times a month they could care less who it effected. So glad I'm finally gone after 24 years !
Sign me up !!!!! Club closed after 26 years, took the severance package, but left with 5 weeks of sick time never paid out for .
