Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Rebuilding trust

This needs to start from within first. Nike’s reputation and trust began to deteriorate with employees and this latest fiasco only solidified it. JD wants to gain consumers trust back but before you can do that you have to clean your own house.

Does anyone else here think that HON and JD should never be executives not only at Nike but anywhere? I am absolutely astonished by their incompetence, dishonesty, and evasion tactics. "DO THE RIGHT THING" by resigning, NOW!

@1tfz you have hit the nail on the head: Nike is choosing to cover HON a$$. HON followed Joe on IG. Pretty sure it was HON's responsibility to "see something, say something."

JD was speaking to the press during the All-Hands. Waste of our time.

HON said they asked AH to resign. She should have been fired, she was fundamentally putting the consumer last with her actions [leading the consumer offense eh?] Dearest HON, please do share details of her departure package. We know you take care of your own. . .

“Ann should have continued to share updates, including informing me, as her new manager, and unfortunately she did not,” O’Neill said."

AKA Nike is choosing to cover HON a$$. HON followed Joe on IG. Pretty sure it was HON's responsibility to "see something, say something."

And if Ann did disclose this prior, why wouldn't Nike and HER MANAGER (HON) follow up? Oh that's right, they don't care, until they do. And when they decide to care, you are gone.

"Do the right thing", Nike. Don't let your elite, privileged executives allow others to be scapegoats for their misdeeds. If HON knew about this, she needs to be gone.

“Ann should have continued to share updates, including informing me, as her new manager, and unfortunately she did not,” O’Neill said."

So, basically the "see no evil, hear no evil" approach. How did that turn out for Nike? As her direct manager O'Neill should've been the one to get those 'updates' considering the potential blowback.
