Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Don’t let them do this to you!

According to the new corporate policy, you should NOT inherit ANY mess! If the rep was moved to another territory that credit / back stock counts against them on their new territory. If they are no longer with the organization that credit / back stock must be taken care of prior to your arrival in the store.
The days of territory realignments where reps “load” or don’t do credits so they can hit their bonus and screw the next rep are over. All thanks to DM’s who allowed this to occur, leaving some with $ 40,000 plus of excess inventory and $ 10,000 plus of credits. Tried to pretend they didn’t know it was there, yeah right. Must be cause you don’t ever work in the field cause you cant miss when stores are calling you.
Don’t let them do this to you, they won’t do it to me! If I find this, it’s going straight to the head of HR, of the organization. Lazy management.

OP @8nfn+19Db1EWO. I’m afraid there will still be a mess?

There is indeed a new policy and it outlines exactly what is acceptable and what is not...the only way the policy works is if people hold the company accountable. If you adopt the attitude that "nothing will change", than you are right, it won't! I see things differently, and always see to it , that I don't get screwed.

Really??? You don't really believe this supposed "new policy" do you?

So who is going to come into each store and decide how much back stock is "extra" above and beyond the "acceptable" back stock level?

And then issue some kind of credit to the new rep, or put the amount on the old rep?

Are you kidding me??? You can't really believe anything is going to be done???

What, there's a special "task force" to make sure everyone's doing everything correctly?

No, there is not, and it will be like every other time. Those that get new routes will get completely screwed by the old rep, and nothing will be done.

And they will continue to do it unless more people pushback! They are snakes...

I'll believe it when I see it. I've always been given an overinflated number. If I struggle really hard, sell 10 incremental displays in every store, and overload my back room, MAYBE I can sc-ape by at 100%. Meanwhile some of my coworkers do not have any displays, no back stock, and empty shelves. They come in at 105%.

Completely biased, crooked, rigged system.

And when the dust settles....they also cannot increase/decrease a territory objective by more that a small set percentage. This keeps your DM honest, by not giving his buddies a huge decrease and those he doesn't like an increase. Both these policies went into effect at the same time, because they need to police their DM's in the field.
