Last VSP package saved $10B to Verizon

Do you think another VSP package will be offered this year?

Very possible, to pay off another $10B against the huge $36B debt the company just incurred with the C-band auction

Bloomberg) – Verizon Communications Inc. made an $8.2 billion payment to the U.S. Treasury Wednesday and expects to go to the debt market to help finance the remaining $36 billion due this month for airwaves that the phone giant needs to accelerate growth.

Retrospective, clearly, it is no fun being on the outside then looking inside. Reflection, being on the outside, I am not working towards building something together for a mission with a vision.

No backfill based on attrition. Stronger leverage of cheaper talent overseas. I can pay someone in India to do the job for 10k a year, better work, less complaining.

No VSP. More RIFs and hiring of offshore transient workforce, not just IT. Top heavy Director, VP, and Executive VP level largely unscathed since Verizon 2.0 will take a hit the end of next quarter which corresponds to the maximum time to leave the company from a financial standpoint.

What is the difference between a VSP and an EISP?

The last VSP wasn’t incentivized enough for me to accept last time. If they create a more lucrative offer next time , I may consider it.
