There is nobody left at Cisco capable of turning this place around. The true talent is long gone and what we have now can barely be called leadership. Anybody who was left who could have done something was forced out one way or another. Basically, we're stuck with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Many of those leading AWS' charge into custom networking hardware design and networking software solutions for the public cloud are former Cisco engineers. Financially, Cisco laying us off and driving us to Amazon was the nicest thing Cisco ever did for us.
Sad. A big transition. Missed.
Cisco was once THE technology leader that dropped the ball and folks like AWS ran with the hot market segments.
Cisco could have became AWS with the right cloud offerings and execution. Sad.
Jeetu or Nightingale would be ideal for a technology company. We sell & market legacy network equipment. A technologist would be setup to fail at Cisco.
Jeetu or Nightingale at the CEO position is the answer. Put people with vision at the top spot and drive real innovation. Chuck is great for the company culture but it’s time to put people knowledgeable about tech at the helm. IMHO.
