Another round today in the DSM org

Not sure how many but I'm one of them. Anyone else?

WTF? I thought layoffs were over and done with by January. Sounds like this one is fairly widespread through various departments. Anyone have a ballpark what the total number may be?
Good luck to all.

How come no WARN notice? The last WARN notice stated ending in Jan 2021. They just going to slowly layoff people until June to stay below the WARN numbers?

Many more of us were axed this week as well. Peace out N! We no longer have to deal with your incompetent leaders, hollow maxims and corporate chaos. I’m sleeping better already!! We will find companies that value us and our contributions. There is abundant fulfilling life outside the berm.

Is this due to the "assess and adjust" nonsense that we were told would happen once the dust had settled from the Oct shifts? Nike is THE WORST at mapping out org structure (always has been, always will be). The sr. leadership folks that mapped it out clearly didn't understand the process of how anything gets done and have no idea what resources/roles are actually needed. They come up with a very hazy vision and then make everyone navigate (and stumble through) the haze with them. No one is happy with the new org, and now additional layoffs in depts that already had prior layoffs validates the incompetency of the org planners, current leaders, and will drag down morale even more.

@1xyj, I am so sorry. Did you actually believe what your "leadership" told you?

@1acr, LOL…I know that Sr. Director! How about his overuse of the work “pedigree” every other sentence especially when it makes no sense?

So sorry to hear. Was shocked when I heard the news, leadership told us everything was done in October for DSM!

I’m really sorry but on the bright side you don’t have to deal with all the anxiety and BS of the unknown. You will be better for this. It might not seem lIke it now but you are better off.
