Well it's March, have been many rumors on this board about a March layoff. Anyone willing to share info? If not March will there be layoffs before the normal October purge.

Two in my team (myself and another) were laid off a few weeks ago. Our team size was reduced from 6 to 4. Two of the remaining team members are going on maternity leave shortly and they already have hired a contractor.
I just got word today that they "made a mistake" in calculating my severance and it will be less, but no one will tell me the amount and I have to wait for the papers to arrive in the mail.

That's funny and correct. USB is Kmart, Sears, Blockbuster of today. Hopefully a competent bank takes them over before it gets too sad.

I was let go March 11. I was in digital experience and sales as a senior product manager. I got 6 weeks of severance as a lump sum. Then I can apply and get 6 more weeks if I am still unemployed after the first 6 weeks. It's not the best but it could be a hell of a lot worse.
Layoff pkg for grade 16 and below is 1 wk pay for every year of service up to 26 weeks. The lucky bs-tards who are grade 17 and above automatically get 6 months pay. They also get medical during the weeks of layoff pay

BTW, does anybody know the detail of severance package? I know it's a cheap one like 1 week per year of service. What's the maximum weeks a person could get?
I am in TOS. My department is slowly letting ppl go since August 2020. There are like 3 rounds of layoffs since then. They keep it as a top secret and won't even tell us who are impacted. There is absolutely no openness in this. All of us feel we're working as day labor as we don't know whether we'll have a job tomorrow. In my opinion, this is the worst layoff strategy a company can have. Team morale is the lowest ever and a lot of ppl don't want to do anything more than just the minimum because of this. When I asked the management what to expect going forward, management can only say "concentrate on our project". Totally BS. If I could, I would have never worked for US Bank.
TOS is pretty large. Where are the layoffs happening?
I'm sorry to hear that you or anyone is losing their job in TOS. So many good, dedicated people led by an incompetent, layered, old management team that should be the focus of any RIF. The TOS management team has no idea what they are doing. The frontline workers that do all the heavy lifting, have to pay the stiff price.

Just got word that mine will end 4/1. I’m on the TOS end of things.
Hearing layoffs are happening. Not as widespread as the October RIFs. This is TOS where I'm hearing from.
What area are you in that they let you go in May?
Sorry to hear you will lose your job. Did you get the normal severance pkg? 1 weeks pay for each year of service? Hopefully this will lead you to a better place than this toxic company. Anyone else lose their job?
