When you have a lost in your family and you come to work the same day because your scared Sam's management going to say something because you needed some time off to take care of your family that's the most important thing Sam's will still be here its sad managers at Sam's have associates so scared to take time off when they have a lost in their family.

I agree with you I lost a loved one two weeks ago and told my manager and his response was do you really need 3 days off! Sam’s is becoming the worst place to work for all they think of is themselves

You get the prize for the worlds longest, non-cohesive, run-on sentence. If you don’t ask for time off because you are afraid of what the boss may say, you have some serious psychological and self-respect issues.
