Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

This is a new level of delusional

When AT&T (NYSE:T) introduced HBO Max in October of 2019, it estimated it would have 50 million domestic subscribers and another 25 million to 40 million international subscribers by 2025. It now sees an opportunity for as many as 150 million global subscribers by that year.

It’s all fake! That estimation was during a investors mwetjng. Total lies and misrepresentations. Att needs Elliot to believe they’re moving forward...laughable!

All att products and services are manipulated , dtv now got the most attention .

Stock holders continue to sue att with no resolution.

HBO max actual paid (not free bs attached) to customer is probably less the 20k

$150 in debt and we continue to let these goons ruin the company

"So it's no wonder that nobody at T will ever answer the simple question of paid v free subscribers."

You've got that right. Related subjects they don't want to talk about how many that got it for free as part of a wireless plan or whatever never even activated it, and of those who've activated it, how many seldom or never use it.

But they all count as subscribers, you know.

They've had the opportunity for 150mil subs since day one, it's a pretty meaningless thing to say. I actually expect it to be big in europe because they seem to love all our trash tv like Big Bang Theory.

When it all shakes out, we'll end up at the bottom just like in wireless due to our pitiful execs.

When the math is simply 'total' rather than 'paid' the numbers always look better.

So it's no wonder that nobody at T will ever answer the simple question of paid v free subscribers.

In any case, by 2025 the number of these streaming services - HBO Max, Disney +, Hulu, Netflix, Apple, Amazon, Roku, Mubi, Criterion, CBS, Peacock, etc etc etc will almost certainly have dwindled into only two or three major outlets, each offing multiple streams at a price.

You know, kind of like how cable & satellite used to be.

Meet the new boss ...

If they give it away they can reach 150 million. Otherwise, It's not worth having given there is little new content that is good as evidenced by lack of new awards such as Golden Globe Awards
