When it comes to Intel it is just losers hiring other losers. The vast majority of these execs are unhirable in successful companies.

@3zms+19UKINSW: "Rats" or not, people tend to get his networks. Even the new CEO has hired back his previous staff to work for him.

Micron shutting the Lehi Fab is a large clue about future of Optane since Intel was the largest customer.

Rats are leaving the company.
Lately incompetent, over promoted VPs are leaving to join other companies. Departures across the company. Hopefully they will hire their loyalist friends. They need their bozo networks in their new companies.
Who is hiring them, you may ask? Other tech companies that are impressed by self promoter empty buzz word talkers...and Intel’s name of course. Good riddance.

what will not be discussed is the stuff behind closed doors eliminating thousands of jobs and shipping projects to offshore. Watch your back and don't put your head in the sand deeper thinking Pat has your back. He will eliminate your job in a blink of an eye. No trust with Intel.

Going to be mostly self-aggrandizing fluff about how it’s a brand new Intel, as if 95% of the decision makers at the company are any different than they were 6 months ago.

The technical content will be hype for GPUs and ice lake xeon. Release dates and performance will continue to be vaguely defined. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Pat uses the wave of positive press as cover to silently k–l off some product lines like Optane.

It’s a public announcement. No way they’d announce layoffs publicly first, then internally. I’m expecting HPG.

Agree in reductions this year, just not next week.
