Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

This will certainly not help HBO Max numbers

AT&T will no longer exempt viewing of its HBO Max streaming service from data caps after a federal court upheld California’s net neutrality law, the company said in a statement Wednesday.

Overrated. Most people with HBO Max watch on internet/WiFi connections anyway. If anything, it will encourage customers to go with an unlimited plan.

Investment grade stock = Tmobile
Best Cell Svc = Mint Mobile
Best Internet = Spectrum
Best TV Subscription = Sling
Best Land Line = Google Voice via Obihai or OOMA — SVC is FREE! Can't beat FREE.

Why go anywhere else?

T-mobile doesn't have data caps when you use stream saver or pay a little extra for HD streaming. Even then, they only throttle your speed when there is network congestion.

As a bonus, they roll the taxes and fees into the advertised monthly rate, so you know what your bill is when you leave the store.

Best choice is to switch to T-Mobile as soon as ATT lays you off.

Isn't it funny how T-Mobile can still offer some services that don't count against data, but T has to suddenly shift?

Sounds to me like this is just a convenient excuse for the geniuses running the deathstar to squeeze more money from their customers. In other words, just another day in the corrupt C-suite.
