At any given time there are various “studies” going on about acquisitions and divestments. Most of them never see the light of day. Just the nature of the business.

They have loaded up the god pod establishment with current, former recycled Kool aid drinking, upward managing divestment managers and they are working fast and furious to quickly divest $20 -30 billion in the upstream and downstream. These folks have been moved out of the crystal palace and from other countries to Los Colinas, given VP titles, RSU treatment, big salaries. They are disconnected from the business lines, Global Planning and report directly to the god pod squad. On the list are big blocks of refineries, pipelines, XTO, IOL, countries, etc. Hold on tight it is happening in 2021 and into 1Q2022 and it could be you. There will be zero hold backs so watch out where you are transfered to, common way XOM gets rid of employees.
