I’d love to get out of here, but I don’t know exactly where. I don’t know of a bank that wasn’t hit by the pandemic. There aren't any that are doing much better. I’m still happy with pay and I can't complain about the atmosphere, but the amount of work is huge and I’m coping with a lot of stress.

This used to be a career destination type company. Good pay, benefits, insurance, and work life balance. Today, they are just old. Never investing in current technology and managed by layers and layers of people that couldn't possibly understand or implement current technology. Management wants to lean on old ideas because they have no clue as to the direction banking is headed. Best outcome is for USB to be purchased by a bank with modern technology and obsolete every system TOS has and RIF all of middle and upper management.
Get out of retail banking all together. The industry is becoming obselete.
Expand your horizons. A Credit Union will give you same or better pay / benefits, with a much healthier mission and environment. Brokerage firms, even insurance companies are a better place that US Bankjunkyard
