So I’m sure there is a bunch of you that are sitting on a stack of sick time that was earned within the last 6 years or so. So my question is how to use it and do you need a valid excuse to do so. I am disappointed that no one really told us that we have the option to use it and when I ask how to use it nobody really knows. Some one pls set this record straight.

is there any way to get this I left in 2019 work for 20 years had 192 hours in sick and 32 in personal
If you are off sick for yourself you report your abscent and call or text your mgr n tell them you want a legacy day put in
When I left the company I lost 27 years worth!
I had Max sick time and quite a bit of personal time. Never got any of it. I’m looking into a lawsuit.
We earned this money and they should not be able to steal it!
I wish they would just pay us out other wise we will never see it..
You can now use your sick hours when on LOA and Covid LOA. No need to use your PTO PPTO, I was able to use my entire 192 hours this way, Still have my PPTO and personal hours.
I was always told we can't use it until our pto and ppto show's 0, But of course can't really believe management neither. Would be nice if they allowed us to use it we earned it.
It is very vague. It all probably depends on your managers and what they allow too.
Clarification needs to be made. Too vague. It looks like you have to be on leave to care for a family member, or yourself and not be using short term disability. Can’t use it for random extra day off. This is not protected time unless you are on an approved leave of absence.
We were told when you request a day off for an appointment to put it in as unpaid. Then the week of that appointment to let a manager know so they can go in and put it as legacy time.
We were told we could use it for medical or sick time instead of ppto or pto. You can not use it for random sick days, points still count.
