Who cares about the NFL? Too political now - I lost interest a long time ago. College football is much more interesting

AT&T should have just stuck to home phone lines. Stay in your lane.

This was always going to happen. If you didn’t see it coming you haven’t been paying attention.

T has no money only debt. They are prioritizing the dividend and 5G spectrum. Plus The Stank is done with dtv, he will do what he can to skuttle it.

@ 19WyMKAR. Except for the fact the NFL just signed a 10year $100B deal with other media companies for broadcast rights . It’s clear Stankey has no concept HP how to attract customers and his business model is built on being a regulated industry that was guaranteed a profit.
Also, Not sure why you think just because some id–t said the NFLis dead you think it is true, think for yourself and due some due diligence before you regurgitate dribble

Current contract for Sunday Ticket doesn't expire until after 2022 season. At that point AT&T has indicated it no longer desires to send the NFL the billions of dollars they want. Just maybe the NFL will see how bad their business model is doing and might get a bit more negotiable in their tv rights. NFL loses viewers every week, last 3 years.

It's less that he "won't" play ball than he "can't" play ball.

This company is deeply in debt, and adding more recently for spectrum auctions, and even that is causing rumblings on Wall st.

Trying to pile on more debt for the NFL simply won't fly – Stankey can't afford it.

All of the networks covering the NFL got streaming rights to their games in their new contracts. Will Sunday ticket even exist under the contract?

Giving up is part of the plan. I recall reading something in the DTV deal about ATT being responsible for the first $XX million of loses attributed to the loss of NFL tickey

No way that Att let’s the Sunday ticket get away from Directv!Someone needs to get this under control because it is imperative that Directv keeps the NFL Sunday Tickets! This is a mark on the television industry that should not change!Get it together gentlemen and make this happen for the future of Directv depends on this business as we depend on the jobs! This will be a historic football season coming up as post pandemic and so many people will be watching football as we should be back to normal by then!To all executives that are on this committee I urge you to get it done!

I doubt that Stinkhole even knew there were any NFL negotiations. He's so completely and utterly ignored DIRECTV since he left it in shambles after the acquisition. This is just T's management style: buy something at a premium, mismanage and ignore it until it decays, then get rid of it.

Oh, how's ATTTV working out? Yeah...

That's the AT&T way, not surprised. They tried to bully Roku & Amazon - they got their azz handed to them. This outfit is gasping for breath. Choke already. File Chapter 7 or Chapter 11 or better, sell yourself for pennies on the dollar to Verizon.
Everclear away.
