Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Why all the hate on T?

It seems that employees and customers alike are quick to hate on AT&T. I'm just curious as to the underlying reasons. Many companies layoff employees in addition to sometimes providing an inferior level of service, yet they don't experience the same level of hatred. I used to love everything about T, not so much now.

Because when you are a middle aged loser with bad performance reviews and no work ethic, it’s easier to shift the blame elsewhere.

Why all the hate for T?

Lies, incompetence, mismanagement, lies, arrogance, greed, lies, no job security, lies, and lies.

If that isn't enough for you, have you ever actually listened to Stink? If that doesn't raise a tsunami of hate then nothing will.

AT&T as a whole has the tendency to do everything half-@ss and as cheap as they can. Eventually the consumer experience is affected by this. Employees know we do this also. And it’s all a result of the decisions our poor leadership has been making for the several decades. At some point you piss off enough customers that you have a bad reputation. And we most certainly have that.

Okay, that explains it. It's just that I used to hear mostly good comments in the past, now I never hear any good comments only bad. It seems that the younger generation is anti AT&T everthing.not sure what it will take to change all the hateful commenters.

people who are happy with at&t do not post on this board; even people laid off but had rewarding careers at at&t only say good things about T on review sites like Glassdoor, Indeed, and especially LinkeIn.
