Have all stores stopped doing this at start of shift? We had a machine installed to do it, but it broke down a week ago and now everyone is told to sign in on a computer (the same one for every one) and nobody is taking temps.
Surely even the time clock would be more sanitary.
How is this even allowed to be happening?
Are we all not that expendable?
Our temp gun broke and we are now using a contact less thermometer but no one uses it. O well. More of a reason for me to stay the f— away from people..
@1ugx the point is that temps are a company policy ad when they are done it is directly a failure on part of management. we can get fired for the slightest offense but management can screw up all the time and not get held accountable..
People complain about everything. So do you get a temp check when you get gas or go to the mall or go grocery shopping. Covid is not something you can ONLY get at Sam's club so stop blaming Sam's club because I'm sure if you got your temp checked it would be the ONLY time throughout your day you got it checked

Screening is a big joke haven’t had temperature taken in six months
New, updated rectal swab testing machines are being installed this week. There are five rotating selectable shaft diameters to choose from. You just program the size of the shaft you want to sit on, drop your pants, and sit on down until the buzzer goes off. Wait 20 seconds and you should get a reading.
I do the screening on the computer. I take my temperature everyday before work. I have also been vaccinated. Bottom line in our club, management doesn't care....crazy
I'm sorry to hear that. Ours works, though the thermometer was acting up and we had to change it out. How come you didn't revert back to manual checks??? Does seem unkosher and against current corp guidelines. Puts employees and members even more at risk. But yes, we are expendable. Completely so. Expendable and replaceable.

I took the covid test every day since it was started.
When I caught covid, I got a doctor's referral and took a covid test, which, by the way, the results came back three days later - negative, so I went back to work.
Took their Sam's Club covid test and I could not answer a single question on that test with a "no". They took my temperature and I was 98.9 - for three more days. I had no stomach issues and nothing the test asked. Finally, had to force my doctor to give me another referral, and guess what, I tested positive. So I took the covid leave.
My point, that Sam's Club test is useless, so take a chill pill and take care of yourself. Don't expect anyone else will ever care about you or watch out for you like you will.
Same thing happened at my club, last 4 days of working no temps taken, p–p
