I would say no. The morale is so bad and I have never seen it worse. I personally have no will to work and find it difficult to concentrate. I don’t even know what could fix this low morale anymore? Maybe hope that WTI may go to 100 dollars and jobs will come back overnight, as someone said?

Once you realize this place is just a paycheck and everything that’s important to you has nothing to do with this place the better off you’ll be.
Your supposed to forget and move on. Remember?
A Legacy Cenovus Employee of ten years was let go on Monday after Alex said layoffs were over. Her crime? Asking questions of her new Husky management. I guess Alex really doesn’t run Cenovus anymore if layoffs kept going without his knowing.
This is what drives me nuts. Alex says to look ahead and we are all supposed to fall in line and just forget.
I don’t trust any of our management and I don’t think I ever will. I gave Alex the benefit of the doubt at first and he did seem to be different but since then he’s proven he’s just another Brian F.
And as far as I can tell this whole Husky thing was Jon’s idea and in the end he’s going to push Alex out. Then we really will be Husky 2.0 in every thing but name.
Nope, I agree - moral never this low in history of company.
AP gets the new B.Ferguson award.
People are even yelling at each other on Teams calls now. Stress all time high and beyond cracks forming. Various teams are just letting deadlines pass as people are too busy and overwhelmed. it’s going to cost this company. Expect lots of regulatory fines soon.
I’m out as soon as possible

Do you really think that WTI will ever get to $100 anytime soon? Even if it eventually does, would a lot of damages not have done before then?
Today I have applied for an accountant position which already has 200 applicants before me. Well I got my CGA and experience in accounting, although in CVE I was not the accountant. I wonder where else someone with accounting designation, some experience and good Excel could apply to. Do not say Walmart or Amazon, they are over staffed with engineers and accountants from India and Pakistan, once those guys get into an any company they start hiring only their people. Where else to look for the job?
You are correct in that the morale is at its bottom I have ever seen - glad Im out of there thats for sure!
Remember Alex says to look beyond the work force reductions. Especially if you’re management and in six months you get to share in the $30M. The rest of you just look beyond it all and forget it all happened. Just a bad dream. My bet is fast forward to September and we will all be sitting here again in another layoff round. At least they would be consistent.
