I have a friend who was laid off 2015 and when I relayed the rumors to him that Intel might soon want to rehire him, he just laughed. Why would anyone want to come back here is not clear to me.
People have long since found much better positions. I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong, maybe there’s someone who would love to come back?

Those of us that got laid-off in 2015 can NEVER be rehired especially if you signed the separation package. That evil pr--k CEO BK immorally directed HR to mark EVERYONE as THIEVES so that we will be blackballed for the rest of our lives. I personally would NEVER go back to intel. That man was the worst thing to happen to intel.
Different people has different choice, all about "Is this best choice for your life?" for me totally fine, no much better choice without move to new city and I do not want to do that.
I don't mind when it offers me 10m/yr bonus
