Sad to say as a long term associate we have been forgotten, abused and left out on many raises!
I’m leaving this poor excuse of a job.
Always short handed, expected to do many jobs,
Nobody being held accountable, covid attendance abuse! Nothing like the Sam’s I was proud to work for years ago. When you waste your life working for a company that only cares about profits and not their people anymore it’s time to go.
Every one of us is replaceable and at the beginning of the year we are on pins and needles waiting to see who will be getting cut! Especially managers!
Hostile work environments in many clubs along with favoritism and discrimination.
Good Bye Sam’s Club and hopefully you go out of business like the other companies that you are acting like remember Kmart ? Lol

i am a long time associate. Yes don't like the "new Sams" that has. been going through changes past few years however I do understand why. Technology is where we are at. All things that were speculated regarding zero cash handling, merchandise being delivered to your doorstep, all things computerized was obvious. Retailers need to continuously upgrade and move according to business and evaluate the expense of human personnel. They didn't want to become the "Kmarts". This does not give the excuse to treat their devoted associates poorly. Discrimination, favoritism, harassement and bullying seems to be part of management training. It does prove that retail is no longer a career prospect and you need to rethink your goals. Maybe technology is what you need to focus on. Work on your degrees. Doors open wider with them. I have a couple of years for retirement. I will be sticking around.

They’ve been restructuring for the past 10years lol!! That right there tells you where this company is headed to. Only thing they are concerned about is crunching the numbers at the end of the year. So if it means getting rid of departments and handing everyone 20 tasks to do with only 2 registers open then this is the place for you. The training is awful. They are handing out these team lead and managers position like hollow web candy lol. If you can breath and hold a box cutter, you are qualified for the position.
