Does everyone at the new Cenovus know that each of those Husky 10,000 BPD thermals in Saskatchewan draws 1,260,000 US Gallons of fresh water from the North Saskatchewan River every day? And once it has been used once to produce steam, the produced oily water is disposed of down a well into an aquifer. Ask about the Raw Water Inlet project under construction to draw even more fresh water out of the river.
Glad to be gone from any company that thinks it is an acceptable business practice for the 21st century.
