What was the LABU factor? We had another terrible year...
As a whiny entitled EOI, I did work 11.5 months for CVX in 2020. That 13th salary is part of the total remuneration, so like it or not it's due. Also the fact that I asked for EOI and got it is helping someone at Chevron get a position so really what are the haters beef here?
The factor for all BUs and OpCos was set to 1. I think that was announced last year.
There wont be a BU / OpCo factor for future CIPs as we are ‘one team’.
Does anyone know the OpCo and BU performance factors for 2020 ?
If bonuses are based on work from the prior year why wouldn’t the laid off be entitled to it? They contributed . They’re lay off is about so many factors having nothing to do with job performance. The poster who said the laid off don’t deserve a bonus is clueless.
How hateful do you have to be to wish laid off employees wouldn’t get a bonus? It’s not coming out your pockets, so why do you care so much.
@2upt, You sound like someone who is still hired by Chevron, but should have been the first one to be laid off. The CIP is only for employees, just as you said. But you fail to understand the people you despise so much WERE employees in the performance year this bonus is for. They are entitled to the CIP as much as you are, albeit for their prorated share of the months worked. Somehow, you were saved from the axe man this last round, but you’re shallowness gives me the feeling your number is coming up next time.
@vwr+19c7eQX9 unfair, maybe you can share some of your layoff money with those still here. How entitled can you be?
@jbq+19c7eQX9 I think that anyone laid off shouldn't get it. it's always been that you need to still be employed by the company if you want it. Even with past layoffs that I've been part of at this organization it has been like that.
Where on Workplace is there a board to anonymously gossip, whine, and ask questions?
Is it true that IPF for anyone in special 2020 severance program will automatically default to 0.8?
amazing how many chevron employees actually comment on this, this is a website for those laid off from chevron. cant you gossip about this on workplace? the big question for those laid off is will we get anything? exit paperwork indicated we are eligible but not guaranteed for cip. So if employees get anything .it will be quite unfair if those laid off get nothing. I am not counting on anything but chevron have been fair in the past so will wait with optimism and be grateful if i get anything
ACCORDING TO 8K FILING WITH SEC BONUSES FOR MW, PB, JJ, JG AND MN ARE ZERO-POINT-ZERO.
SO I WILL BE HAPPY WITH 0.75 TIMES TARGET!
This is thelayoff.com. Let’s talk about whether those that were laid off will actually get a bonus we were told we would get when we’re laid off.
I thought 0.65. Happy with 0.75 given the current business environment.
Anything is better than nothing.
Exxon got rid of their matching 401k last year (or something close to that), so all things considered, will take it! You do wonder a bit how much this is related to higher brass wanted their yearly bonus...but, still thankful
Much higher than what I expected. I expected 0 and am very happy and very thankful for .75. Especially since last year, a so called "good" year, we were at .95.
Be thankful with you are given. It is definitely better than a lot of unemployed employees on the street. Count your blessing.
I expected 1.0, but I am good with .75; it’s better than nothing.
More money is good money
Just understand someone is getting a much fatter check than u are by having the multipliers
Considering how most other companies have no bonus this year, it’s generous. I’m pretty happy to be at Chevron right now
Basically on par. Still pretty deflating after last year, all of the layoff, and the ridiculous no org they’ve shoves us all into.
