I remember hearing here in early December that 401k matching was changing from 80% of the first 6% to 50% of the first 10%. Did this actually happen? I don't see this reflected in my 401k.

It is 80% match up to 6%. Unless new employees are changing fit 2021.
Was this for new employees that are not in a pension plan?

It’s changing in 2022 along with the other benefit changes they announced recently.

I also heard that rumor but have seen nothing either from T or Fidelity.
