What a pitiful interview. There is a business to run, fiduciary responsibility to shareholders, a good work environment for employees, etc. Instead the company, which six years ago had a stated software strategy, has a label as a hardware company and employees wondering when the 1:1 meeting invite will arrive. Time for the CEO to get to work or bring in anew one.

He should be made to explain share price, LR numbers and frequencies, outsourcing jobs to India and revenues and not woke topics. Just a diversionary interview.
We are the woken and broken
Chuck is a joke and so is the leadership team. 10 years ago Chuck was partying like crazy at every sales boondoggle and overseas conference. Now he’s woke because he’s got his $25-$50mil paycheck on the line. He has no clue, vision or understanding of the technology or the business.
Chuck and his “leadership” team and direct reports are extracting $1bil per year from the employees and shareholders of Cisco and all we get are rotating LR’s and the nice woke talk while other companies execs actually focus on business and their stock has grown 3-5x.
Remember, our customers suddenly decided to press..... pause.
Before the pandemic.
Cisco CEO should get an award for Stock buy backs, outsourcing and wasting money after getting it back to USA from all over the world, and WASTING it. We are still stuck with $40-44 billion revenues for the last 4 years.
Microsoft CEO has returned more money to investors by building the cloud business. Look at MSFT ... it has gone from $45-60 to $235.00 now in 5-6 years.

Yes, we are fortunate.
A more technically experienced and product oriented CEO probably wouldn't have the same interest and level of engagement in popular, woke, social policy. He/She would be overly focused on innovation and delighting customers.
Before commenting on this great achievement, expect to be tracked by the best algorithms in the business.
