This place or the fact that I'm stuck here until the economy improves. Getting severance and a push out the door would be a godsend for me right about now.

Take responsibility for you life and stop pointing fingers. Verizon isn’t holding you hostage
Many of us feel the same way. Happy that we are employed, but wouldn’t be that upset with some severance and a chance to get out of the meat grinder that is Verizon.
