We have seen fake news posts such as "something big going to happen in January" or "Goldman Sachs going to buy us" and nothing pans out. The reality is these are trolls here to create anxiety and top into someone's existing dissatisfaction to get a rise.
All I heard is there is going to be a massive effort to hire/promote within to new roles due to the transforming landscape and people will be hired back. No one knows exactly what leaders are thinking but don't allow someone who posting rants and manipulating the upvote/downvote make you feel down or fearful of your job and security.
Keep your head up, take it one day at a time and when there is real news, this board will report real news
