Opinion of site leadership at Aero Olathe

Anybody that works at Olathe, has a honest opinion of leadership here and the direction it’s headed?

Leadership is a cross between Captain Blye and Captain Ahab. Supervisors and techs are still leaving as soon as they can!

You all have this backwards, Olathe is not lead by Local leadership, but by Phoenix (ALT). None of the satellite locations have autonomy. The Site leader just passes on what they have received by e-mail from ALT every Sunday night. It will continue until there isn't an AERO division, which will be soon by the looks of things.

I worked for Klossen after he ran away from Olathe after he was told Olathe was being closed a few years ago. This guy has no clue how to lead or interact with people, but MM thinks the world of him. Like personalities and leadership styles tend to attract. Says alot about him as a SL when he only returns to Olathe when he hears they are off the close list (for now) and receiving work from Renton and Wichita. By far the worst leader I worked for and I ended up leaving the position I loved because of him.

Olathe is a television repair shop at this point. Old products used by 60percent fewer customers than last year. Indications are that it will be the last television repair shop standing in the US market.
So, no it is not closing yet.

Olathe leadership is doing its best but this is reality. The planes are not flying. Trend will not reverse for years. Seen it before. If your career cannot go on hold for four to five years then you need to jump.

I can't speak for all MGMT but I think Steve K. is the best site leader. The compassion and concern he shows for his employees would put Steve Jobs to shame. Take Christmas, my popcorn was so fresh and buttery that I didn't mind not spending time with my family.
