Bob was a really expensive Valentine’s date. No chocolates, diamonds, or fancy dinners for him. Instead it was $100M+, and it wasn’t even a healthy or productive relationship.

worrying about layoffs is natural. We all want to be in control of our life. But at this point, if you are not waiting for a severance or erp package, please use your energy for looking for a better opportunity outside.

Intel has been laying off people constantly. The incompetent management team doesn’t know anything, cannot execute. The only thing they do is to lay-off people to make ceo and cfo happy. Incompetent managers cause issues and people pay - most often people who are not “yes” men. Total failure Raja hired graphics people in San Diego. He hasn’t delivered a single competitive product. Doesn’t matter. He laid off those people during the beginning of the pandemic. The companies the clowns are buying fail and who pays for the failure. Employees.

I see even so so people are getting jobs at msft, google, Apple, nvidia. You should be ok. Let’s give ourselves encouragement, don’t waste your time and energy worrying about intel clowns and what they would do. I tell you they would do the most asinine thing. For sure.

A retirement incentive needs to be offered to remove some dead wood for sure.

Yes, intel Will let incompetent management ranks to lay-off employees . It is boon to managemenet to clean up people who threaten their existence I.e. people who actually know what they are talking about out and want to do real work, not fake stuff.

Toxic managers are going to choose who to keep and who to cut, that has proved to work for intel. Bravo. Final nail on the coffin...we already see real productive people not giving their best anymore. Attrition is really high. Even the moderately skilled people are finding jobs.

Great, let intel management lay-off employees. A complete bozo move.

BS did not want to be seen leaving as the bad guy who authorized the 10% HC reduction. Instead it is best for PG as new CEO to pull that trigger and shake things up before May.

@1ojc+19hKYaXJ you are just all too used to the smell of garbage

You are right @1yhf. All non-charlatans and non-garbage are right here .. at the layoff website and total garbage is inside the company. Yeah, makes sense.

We can all agree PG may be brilliant but he is inheriting a totally large group of apes and gorillas compared to the lean and efficient competition across the design and fabrication community.

A CEO and some old past intel senior executives ain't going to have any chance to fix the things so broken across the company.

Well the stock is cheap, and for the next few years it likely can rise with the huge sentiment raising all boats, but most certainly like the Titanic this one is going to the bottom unless he cuts off TMG and LTD and gets inline at Samsung and TSMC there is no way they are going to compete effectively.

PG also has to clean house and streamline so many parts of the business, Sadly he has been gone for so long and so many people have left what is left is real garbage for the most part.

Anyone of character and honor and leadership was purged or become part of the ape and gorilla organization there.

It sounds jaded, but @xfe is right. BS continued the same failing policies as Bk, and even accelerated some of them. I’m not at all convinced that the current workforce, built on what you are instead of who you are, could implement any great plan that PG brings. Too many millennials who work 4 hour days, 3.5 of which is on their phones. They aren’t dumb, they know they’re protected by current policies.

PG cannot fix anything, he came out of the same political hunger games as all the roaches. And he doesn’t have the guts to fire all of them because it would mean replacing 90% of management in every major division.

I don’t think PG can get rid of the charlatans. Most are survivors. I didn’t realize how some of them are claiming to be Pocahontas (actually men) among other other diversity claims. These people are true survivors. They will do anything, c—roaches...

Just watch, whatever Pat will utter will soon be parroted by these people. They will try to get into the right Pat meetings and adjoin all Pat ARs. Same story. And they will be after the employees (clever people who try to add value, do good for intel) that threaten these c—roaches’ survivor, just watch.

Same people, different CEO. Yes, smarter CEO, no doubt.. That is our only hope but he can’t fight the armies of c—roaches.

Please reveal your identity if you think you can do the CEO job better.

Good riddance
I wish he took some of the charlatans he over promoted and protected with him.
All talk no substance. One intel blah blah... improved focal...insights...diversity

It is all talk. It is all for show. His tears, chocking. He got many thanks from the clowns, of course. They survived and thrived under Bob. Intel management ranks are still as bad as before. He promoted them.
