IBM is out of discretionary cash flow (spending on marketing and investment) THUS they have to partner to share one or the other of the dual costs. IBM will focus their discretionary cash flow exclusively on the Fortune 500 accounts. Thus if you are not a focused Fortune 500 account, IBM’s relationship with you will be partnering on one side of the discretionary cash flow or the other. IBM just can’t be the one stop shop that it used to be. They are out of cash flow

I don't understand this. IBM will re-sell Palatir as an add-on to Cloud Pak For Data? Why wouldn't they just package their software on generic K8s? Their actual product is lackluster and they depend on their army of consultants to customize it. Like IBM.
