Sam's will go to it or something very similar in March as well. This kinda backfired on corporate. Most associates like the block unless they're stuck with the 1-9:30 shift.
Their plan was to make associates miserable because most never get a weekend off. It's their way of forcing you to burn up your pto.
NOW, they want to shake up happy associates by having managers turn over the associates apple cart.
Gonna be a lot of 4-12:30 & 5-1:30 people upset in the coming weeks.
Fresh leads are still gonna have the worst schedules in the club.

Hello,
Teaming schedules will be rolling out in Walmart Super centers (SC) and neighborhood markets. This née way of scheduling allows teams to work together at the same time with their leaders to accomplish more. It only applies to full time associate’s and overnight associates will either work 5 nine hour days or 4 11 hour days. This will depend on what the store manager chooses. I’m a People Lead (HR) on the Walmart side and this will be rolling out week 5. We’re very excited!

Was told by a manager that teamleads will have set schedules and managers. Not sure if this is 100% facts but that what they said . That's from Sam's club

If you search “team scheduling” on wire it comes up. But i believe “SC” is super center. I think since walmart is not on block scheduling that this is their interpretation of block scheduling because it is very similar. So instead of calling theirs “block” scheduling, they are calling it “team” scheduling.

Could the SC abbreviation be for Super Center? I would love for it to be Sam's Club

I assumed Walmart was going to block scheduling and that's what they're calling it? Are they changing Sam's Club? Because they need to. Block scheduling is garbage.

Sam's Club is abbreviated in the new policy guide as SC's. So I guess block schedule was not good enough. Team Schedule will force you into working with people you can't stand on a regular basis. Wire talks about stocking crew so there might be hope for over nights again. All up to the club manager of course to set teams and new schedules.

It is not for Sams Clubs. Walmart side is not on block scheduling so that is what they are going to.
