Why is it that us Cafe Associates keep.getting disrespected here in Joplin?? We work hard just like everyone else!! We have to deal with being shorthanded, being yelled at by members and fellow employees, less pay than other departments, and constantly being unappreciated!!

Yes cafe workers get paid less than cashiers and HMS/Roto associates yet are expected to "help our team members" in those areas for the lower pay.
Is the HMS food even supposed to be done outside the HMS area, like in the warm cafe or dirty "hallway" outside HMS/Roto on tables covered in cardboard?

Not trying to be disrespectful, but it sounds like you should look outside of Sam’s, you are correct, it’s pretty sh–ty everywhere
Only have 2 cafe associates at my club. Think they open cafe at 12 or 1pm
I work in Joplin too! It’s toxic!
not just joplin. in mid ohio it has been the same for some time. the cafe has been seen as the place you get stuck before you are fired. cafe teamleads have suffered there . once you get in there you rarely get out before you are coached enough to get fired. of course the front end in general is a nightmare. i was lucky to get out of there before i got coached enough to fire.
