Has anyone been pulled by their manager yet to confirm their bonus or Merit increases? Or should I say lack of bonus and no Increase?

Achieved Expectations, J Grade, 28% Bonus (down 4% from last year) and No Merit
Achieved expectations. $2500 cashbonus and 2% annual increase
- 6% merit, 5k bonus. i got the same bonus last year
@1ivc+19kbY50Z - The email should come 24 hours after your manager "releases" the paperwork to you in the system. You should be able to see it in MyReward before that, however. It could be that your manager forgot to hit the button to release the paperwork.
1% merit 7% bonus
0% merit. 9% incentive.
How much or our money did our frugal leaders give away to racist organizations like the southern poverty law center? I think it was $10,000,000 that pledged to low performing schools to satisfy their white guilt. The least those places could do is send me a thank you card.
You need to be at least an I grade or above to be eligible for bonus/incentive (they’re the same thing). Any grade below that is overtime eligible and thus isn’t eligible for a bonus.
Also, given that you’re in middle office ops, even if you are I or above in that part of the bank, bonuses aren’t big. Operations and Technology at any bank or company is a cost s— for profits and typically there isn’t much money paid out to anyone (bonus or otherwise) beyond the minimum acceptable amount. You’ll only see big pay increases and bonuses within the businesses, and those jobs are in NYC, London, etc. Typically product, sales, RMs, upper management, etc. No one in middle office operations will get paid particularly well. RMs selling the middle office services to clients and the product people designing the offering, tracking the market of competitors, trying to innovate the offering, and owning the P+L? They’re a different story. Just the way it is and always will be.
@3odr+19kbY50Z Incentive = bonus, would assume GGs were never eligible.
@3ndo+19kbY50Z I got a merit increase last year at the same level
@2fsq+19kbY50Z Is GG even eligible for incentive?
GG - Achieved Expectations - $0 bonus & 0% merit
not below expectations
@2gqg+19kbY50Z Below Expectations?
I'm a GG in middle office operations. I've been here for several years. Bonuses have never been given to us. My merit this year is 0.94% down from over 2% last year. What am I working 10 hour days for?
Achieved Expectations - Level K - 9% bonus and $0 merit.
No bonus with BNY. Can’t wait for my “bonus” from the government stimulus!
how come i didn't get my comp discussion yet?
M level. Bonus 60% of base salary. Down 2 years in a row.
I heard GCM bonuses are 100%+ of base.
Achieved expectations, I grade, 8% bonus and 1% raise
So those of you who have received your bonus/merit numbers - what was your rating? EE? Or achieved expectations (or met expectations...whatever it’s called)?
I’m almost expecting them to tell me that a donation has been made in name to the Human Fund.
Was told in my year end that bonuses and merit increases will only be given to those who got EE or higher in their year end. And nothing would be given to the rest
$9500 bonus (5% below target, paid out 2/28), $1000 merit (starts in July).
- 25% raise and 2.5% bonus. I heard that level J and up got 0% raise.
Been told to expect flat base and bonus -12-18%, so -15% likely.
After the manager conversation, are we supposed to do anything in my reward? I haven’t received an email and under my documents it just says a compensation statement will be made available after the conversation.
I got no merit increase and a roughly 4% bonus FWIW
It’s worse than I thought! .4% less. I am optimistic about my future, just waiting for most companies to have employees back in their offices. In the meantime will enjoy working from home. Don’t expect me giving 100% anymore! Where is the middle finger emoji on this thing? LOL!!
CPI for 2020 was 1.4% so you actually are earning .4% less.
1% pay increase for me, was told
most were getting nothing. Still s—s. Guess I should be happy to still have a job. Can’t wait to look for a job next year.
Is the payment date going to be 2/28 as it usually is?
as long as you work for a corporation you are same as all others, servile and weak, a bonus doesn't change anything to this
Only the weak and servile would think it's okay to not receive a bonus from a profitable corporation. I have my hand out every year waiting to get mine and this year will be no different.
Haven't heard anything, but last year they told me I was at the top of my salary range, so no raise. They did bump up the bonus, but I'd rather have the extra percentage going to my 401(k) match.
Mine is scheduled for early tomorrow morning. Will report back.
No, but heard it’s starting this week.
