I've never heard a customer say "I love DNAC". It was off to a bad start from the product name actually being a marketing buzzword of the day. Maybe it should be called "Catalyst Readiness Assurance Platform"
Why does everybody here hate DNAC?
When is the towel thrown in on DNAC? Taking bets for 1 year, 2 years, 3 years. I mean what customer doesn't want to install slow software on a dedicated server with all flash drives just to make it work.
Musk is a jackass, but Cisco is a trainwreck. None of the SVPs other than RaviC have the balls to do something gutsy. Ravi f—ed up badly with DNAC because he didn't know what he was doing, and DNAC is complete junk as a result, but which of the other "leaders" are doing anything but playing it safe? None of them. The rest are spineless and basically do nothing other than crank turning and occasionally reacting when a customer is upset enough at the shoddy SW quality to make a stink about it.

I worked for Nortel before and that (MBAs) is what helped do in Nortel. A great company at one time. I use to say MBA stood for Memo Before Action.
MSFT successfully built Azure - so they are better off than the Cisco with the Intercloud whatever fiasco.
Cat 9300 looks exactly like Cat 3850. Only now, the customer gets to pay more for software and keep paying. Or you can buy an EA package for the software. Exact same product and function - all financial and sales engineering. I guess Cisco can fool everyone - at least for a while. Honestly Microsoft has been doing the same thing with Office for 20+ years - what real innovation have they brought? All subscription and financial engineering - Office product is the same with slight facelift. Like the movie Idiocracy - society is getting dumber and more commercialized sheep every day.
