Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Verizons credo says we act with a sense of urgency, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. They say they follow sound business practices, but leave HR visits or feedback open for months or they don’t follow up at all. Especially if those “HR” visits involve a store leader. They don’t care about us, we are just a warm body in the store while DMs, Directors and above are making 130k+ to sit at home. They continue to cut commissions, and say it’s fair to get paid based off RIS which should be illegal! Not to mention I also think paying SMs half pay after 40 hours is also wrong.

To bad you cant get the receipts for surveys affecting your pay. I mean not like you could search voice and screen shot the surveys that blame reps for being democrats, denying covid, s-xually suggestive and the like. I mean god forbid you get the 8/10 "only Jesus gets a ten survey" It's a shame you can't screenshot your estatments to reflect the loss.

it's concerning as a shareholder how they are setting up and obvious legal issue. Longer it happens bigger the pay out; yet I'd rather be employeed.
