I found all my Puerto Rico team mates to be knowledgeable, capable, professional, and personable. I enjoyed working with them for several years. I am saddened to hear about the RIFs there, and wish everyone the best. Continental U.S. folk should lighten up about grammar and focus on the ideas and sentiments that are being shared. A little charity goes a long way towards building relationships.

There should be more respect for all External HON employees that not are in the US.
Language should not be a barrier to success and dedication, being efficient and hard working "IS" in this Global Network. Also being bilingual is an asset in the Business World especially when you are far away and can manage multiple project without being on Site or with Customers.

@rpm, so how's your Spanish? Perfect? We have many exceptionally bright employees for whom English is a second or third language. It is quite a talent to be able to conduct business all day in a language that is not your own. Your fixation and repeated attacks on peoples' grammar, punctuation, spelling, and typos are off-topic, pedantic, unenlightened, and frankly irrelevant. Being understood is what matters at a multi-national corporation, not perfection of expression.

Do us all a favor and go teach middle school English somewhere because with your distractive hyperfocus on everyone else's writing, you cannot be working efficiently at your Honeywell job.

Wow, someone concerned about grammar over substance. No wonder days of supply and working capital never improves. Please go back to proof reading your TPS reports.

So now it’s racist to complain about using proper grammar? No wonder why HR controls the company.......

Oh no...be very scared people. Someone from HR, probably a VP or Director is criticizing grammar on this site. As usual, always focused on something other than the facts. I can hear it now, "Don't worry Mike, nothing to worry about on layoff.com, they are all 3rd graders and not as smart as you".

OP. I'll bet PR management did know, but they are too chickens4!t to tell the folks. This habit is pretty consistent with nearly all HON management. They are cowards to HR and ALT.

As always the grammar represents a 3rd grade education.
