We had a winter front hit Texas and my manager is like let the roads get a little bit clear and come to work are you serious its like our lives means nothing they just want us to come in and work us like dogs no compassion at all.

Yes, it would be nice to take off the entire week. If you don't feel safe going in, then don't chance it. Everyone has a position in that place. Managers are nothing special. If it gets ugly, which it usually does if you aren't there on a bad day, expect it. They were short handed and then pissy because they had to work too. If it gets real ugly, find another job. There are many that will treat you fairly!

They can’t say what they think they are required to be Yes Men! If you don’t agree with the store or club Manager you won’t make it!
Club Managers at most clubs don’t have a Back Bone or a set of Balls!
The Reason I said Yes Men is because of all of the Female Discrimination that goes on in this company! If your middle age, male and Bald you got a management job! A set of Balls not necessary!

Our club will ask associates to stay in a hotel close to the club and pay for it.

doesn't sound out of the question to me. what did you expect him to do, give you a big hug & tell you take off as many days as you need to until you feel safe? if he did, people like you would take off the whole week.
