When I first started working a few years ago, I felt I was paid fairly. However, as the years went by, the pay did not grow with the weight and complexity of my job so I could no longer say that I was satisfied with the pay. At this point in time I feel heavily underpaid for the work I do and when I say that I am not exaggerating at all.

1-2 years is a great time to find something new.
To the op... how long are we talking? 2 years, 20 years? I've had many jobs and found that in order to get a real increase in salary you need to leave. I last about 3 years before I move on. I don't think that's any worse at Fiserv.
You still work here. Why would they pay you more? They are getting even more value out of you than when you started. It is a really good deal for Fiserv that you continue to work here.
The first reply is correct. You should find another job. The next company will value you more than Fiserv will.

More pay? That was long a Fiserv for real problem. They pay lousy, well below market rates. I left a long time ago and a headhunter started to laugh when I told them of the rate. Incredible. My manager tried to get higher numbers - denied. So there is really good reason for Fiserv anybody to get the hell out when better numbers call. (The general rule is to work at Fiserv for 2 years, learn a bit and then leave).
That’s funny, I distinctly remember resigning from Fiserv late last year! LOL...
90% of my team left in the last 5 months for increased pay, and better benefits. Then other 10% are looking for their exit. The security org seems like it is bleeding staff like crazy as well. Im not sure sticking your head in the sand and saying "all good, nothing to see" is going to help retain talent. Sure seems like an issue to me but hey you know best right!?!

i honestly read this and it reminds me of the 1960s era of management. Employees are leaving to get fair pay, better medical, ESPP, and 401k matching elsewhere. This company does not care how long you have worked here and will not give a second thought to letting you go. Use the company to advance your career to get a better job elsewhere.
I take the original post as a good person genuinely looking for advice. Here you go. Sit with your Manager explain how you feel and why. Suggest that your manager speaks with HR and they conduct an assessment of your role against market companions. If you are indeed underpaid Fiserv can then do a “market adjustment” as warranted. If you are not underpaid you will feel much better knowing that although your role expanded you are stilled paid at market.
