Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Bonus outcome

How are the ongoing bonus meetings ending in your teams? Our team is already a wreck. Most of us have already polished our resumes and are ready to jump ship. No leadership, no course, only a little koolaid for tenured old white bankers

Gonna jump ship where? To the other bank that performed better? For an underwriter you must be pretty unintelligent to not recognize the fact that net income was down 33% in 2020 due to COVID. You think we’re the only bank that took that hit? With this type of IQ you would only be considered a good catch at a small credit union

Clearly, employee retention is nowhere in the priority list for the bank. A true 1-percenter management team. I have learned from experience that karma does exist. All of these millionaire bankers will rot in hell

Absolutely pathetic..... combine that with the 'be glad you have a job' attitude from the inept managers tells a lot about this company. Obviously shows that their phrase of 'pay for performance' is a lie and a joke played on everyone

It’s a joke. Management acts like we’re getting a raise with the sad merit increases this year but the 40-50 percent decrease in bonus means we’re making significantly less with a flimsy excuse that next year will be better. Lol.
