Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Come to Columbus OH

Columbus OH is a boom town, home values in recent decade have sky rocketed since the 2007 great recession, as a prem tech i made almost $100k, they are always bringing in loaners from other areas. Work and footprint is growing. Bring work ethic. You are your job security, do sh– work in an area customers will reject your brand. This is true everywhere. Currently hiring premtechs, IHX, retail, ect. Local managment/leadership is good. Work is plentiful. Reading on here guys in other areas doing one job a day then laying low. That s—s. It depresses me. You are your job security. Do a good job. Take care of the customer, the customer will take care of you. No sense getting on here and losing your sh– over things out of your control. Get up, go to work, put your best effort forward, only worry about what you have responsiblity over. The sun always rises tomorrow... until it doesnt, then we're all f—ed, cause the world will freeze, plants wont produce oxygen and well be stuck eating our pets and burning furniture for warmth. Now that would s—.

This is a layoff board folks. This is the most useless post I've ever seen. Even though the Everclear comment was entertaining for a few seconds, it's dumb nevertheless. Please try and keep focus on layoff centric discussion. Thx

Come to C-bus? Really? You have got to be joking. I would imagine someone would have to be incredibly desperate to even consider moving to Ohio, and would be looking to leave two minutes after getting there.

But hey, thanks for the giggle.

Come to Columbus ... what a joke!

Move to Grand Prairie, Tx as an outside tech - the management here is non-existant, these Bozos are a collection of misfits & clowns. Couldn't install, repair or splice if their lives depended on it.
They pass out the work then they are gone to imaginary meetings. Some of us think they leave to home home for s-x.
I bank my work based on their faulty loading of work units, listen to my ipod in the truck most days drinking everclear.
Easy work, easy money, no leadership.
Life is good. The E. Dallas & Plano garage are also clueless management candidates to workout of.

I was loaned to Columbus quite often.
I traveled about a lot. Worked in 22 states.
The only cr@ppier hole than Columbus is Youngstown, Shreveport, East St. Louis and Cleveland.
I'd never live there.
Enjoy

The problem with moving to Columbus is then you'd be living in Ohio and nobody wants that.

I don’t want to work with a guy that’s watching me and concerned about my work ethic. It losers like you that we can do without. I bet your a snitch to the boss too. One of those guys that has to step on everyone else to try and make himself look better to management. Good luck with that !
