(GOOGL) as potential buyers. He asserts that IBM tried to buy Box when it was still private, and
points out that IBM remains the company’s largest customer and an important partner.

Big Bleu re-visiting this potential acquisition now that Box is worth more than it was when it was private? Good job M&A dept.!

Box is fantastic - one of the best tools I've ever used at IBM and clearly the result of some clear logical minimalistic thinking not the bloated confused c-ap produced internally.

This would be an exceedingly risky venture for IBM. Let’s take a look at the replay board. A cash flow desperate company that has 60 billion in debt, spending 4-6 billion to get a cash flow negative company. Who wants a piece of that action? Unless IBM has some way to turn straw into gold, this is just magical thinking. Let’s hire Ginni for a consult, and she if she can fit it into her strategic initiatives. Yeah that should justify it
