Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Silent layoffs/ people resigning?

Silent layoffs are a reality. I wonder, however, whether there is a greater number of those who were laid off in silence or those who've left on their own?

Nope. Sale of wireline assets was only one year - 2105. VSP was only 10,000 try again liar.

Yep. 2 VSPs (V stands for voluntary) plus the sell off of West and NE. Sure, there have been RIFs but the items mentioned above were responsible for the biggest drops

You’re choosing to ignore the fact that a significant number of those people that are reflected in those numbers as being off payroll opted to take their 401k and pension, and retire. Others took generous buyouts and also left voluntarily. Innovation has lessened the need to replace many.
