cutting out middle management

The past couple of weeks have had many managers and supervisors eliminated to "focus" more on consumer needs??? Without a middle layer of leaders between the workers and the VPs, you have no source close to the daily strife so how are these "leaders" focusing on needs of consumers? More like needs of the business are more important lately. It's really a shame how uhc used to be known for their presence and dedication to their customers because the new focus on consumers is to call a toll free number with 6 digit extensions just to be transferred over and over.

Most Directors and above are only creating more chaos underneath agile transformation and platform modernization initiatives. Zero net new value add but good at unethical practices of taking credit for some one else's success and ideas round the clock and misusing CAP.

Silly, we can't cut VPs. We need them to show their vacation pictures at all hands meetings. It's the only "travel" I get. And their children in private schools are almost like my own. I'm sure they attend a couple of meetings a day to earn all that.
