How can these people sleep at night after what they have done to so many people? The managers at our store hung in there through the beginning of the pandemic and busted their asses and this is the thanks that they get. It is disgusting what is happening to the managers that are being let go and the ones that they are making drive so far from where they live to go to another location.
There is no loyalty in this corporation. This company should be ashamed at what they have done to so many people, but they have no shame when it comes to money you are just a number.
Now they are driving out our good workers that are going to look for jobs elsewhere because of what they have done to our managers. Maybe the people should start looking to bring a union in. See how they would like a union taking over. This may have just been the straw that broke the camels back.
They have let so many good people go and it is sickening.

My friend currently works at BJs Amherst NY store. His pay was cut and is expected to do the same amount of work. Companies who do this to their employees deserve to go bankrupt and close up for good.
Everyone should boycott this sh–ty company and cancel their memberships and shop elsewhere.
Union's dont help the managers, they're exempt. And theyll never allow the rank and file to form a union, theyll fire everyone and start anew. Obviously they could care less
I do not agree at all with what they are doing but there are many bosses who deserve it because when the workers are with them they are happy but when they answer them how I should answer them, there are they already grab it with the workers and they themselves have the Know that they treat them like this because they are the first to mistreat the employees so they are the ones who do not allow the union to enter the bjs corp
We need to start thinking of a leader to move forward with this strike? Lets get some suggestions to help us move forward!! All for one and all for us ! F them!!
This leadership group has driven out the finest people over the years. They tried to get rid of everyone over 50 years old. Bringing in younger people for leadership roles. Those who had no people skills or business aptitude other than they can operate a computer. The stores are filled with lower quality items, help is sparse and what used to be caring people have turned to robots. What a disappointment. They say they are all about diversity. Where have all the women leaders gone? Regional managers, senior VPs? The white boys are up there running everyone out.
Does anyone notice that bjs stock has rose? This is funny since all the investors knew this was happening before it was announced. We need to contact the scc and report them for insider trading! This is a corporate move to line investors wallets and f us. Make this public asap and bring these corporate investors down!!!! Please unite and help us all. Lets catch there hands in the cookie jar!!!
Lets Go!! Time to f this company up!! Club friends its time to take control of our own futures with this company. They treat us like slaves and they sit on there high horse making money off are hard work and dedication. But they treat us like trash they can throw out at an instant at thats what there doing. Lets teach them a lesson and f them easter weekend and f them. Everyone call out for our brothers and sisters and fellow associates who got fd over. Lets take away there money like they did to us. Unite as a team and family and crush this corporate trash a giant. Lets do this!!!
The only thing those selfish pricks at corporate care about is lining their ill-filled pockets with the blood money of the base employees' hard work. While they sit around twiddling their thumbs and doing absolutely nothing of value with their lives, the people who actually work at the stores are raking in probably hundreds of thousands of dollars per store every month with their labors. Despite this, these entitled cacti just loaf around, only giving the absolute bare minimum to their profit generators that they can get away with (and ever so slightly more to the managers and supervisors, hence why they're the first to go, it saves a pitiful amount of money), while they steal from the cash reserves of the company hundreds times as much money as they shell out to the people actually earning the money they're dumping into their pockets.
And while they get rich off of other people's work, besides doing literally nothing, they decide to spend their time coming up with pointless ways to make it harder, more stressful, and just otherwise worse for people to be doing their jobs, the very thing they're profiting off of. Demanding underscheduling of employees in order to reduce hours paid and dumping extra workload on those who do work, putting extra responsibilities to employees for no reason instead of hiring more people for those specific tasks (like how they made fulfillment of online orders separate from recovery once covid hit and online orders became such a huge responsibility that even making it a separate job is still too much to those underscheduled to deal with it), and even trying to shift responsibilities from one job to another (like when it was suggested that filling propane tanks gets taken away from tire installers and given to carts people, despite carts people already having enough to deal with as it is). Plus, it makes things worse for the customers too, not enough employees to tend to what customers need can get annoying when they have to wait several minutes to get what they want, and maybe they're looking for something but can't get it because a lack of employees means it wasn't able to be brought out. Without FLS, they're going to have an even harder time asking questions or getting help, because now they're going to have to go to the service desk, which will probably have a line on the weekends.
If the union goes into one will it automatically be set up at all?

It’s disgusting what they are doing in corporate. They don’t work at the clubs. They don’t know a thing about “member” service. They will be left with a whole bunch of employees that need the job or don’t care about policy. General liabilities will go up as well as sick calls. The people not upset about this are the ones that aren’t affected yet..... I say yet because they will be. A team is a team, you take away positions on any team there’s going to be missed opportunities and lots of room for error. Corporate greed.
