That’s the truth. Alex may say he’s open to new ways but the people below him are not. Alex talks the good talk and then the VPs below just do what they want anyways.
I think they might look at a hybrid model like a few days at home in theory. But and this is a big but, what pressure will employees feel to be full-time in the office despite what Alex calls flexible work arrangements. What Alex says and what actually happens tends to be quite different in practice.
Probably realized they can save money with the work from home option. Remember its never about the employee!
Staff are are so angry right now they are ready to light this building on fire..
Probably safer to keep everyone at home for a while as workplace flexibility.
